Mary Webb. Autograph letter signed, February 16 [1925], to Morton Luce, one page on one leaf. Webb tells her friend that she has spoken to Adcock about writing a review of Luce’s poetry for the Bookman. She asks for more copies of Luce’s poems in printed or manuscript form, and for a photograph of Luce so that she and Henry do not have to remove the photo they own from its frame. Webb had kept in touch with her friend Morton Luce since 1912, who lived in Weston-super-Mare, and was hoping to promote his work in London literary circles. In addition to publishing multiple volumes of poetry, Luce was a Shakespeare and Tennyson scholar.
