Mary Webb. The Thornless Rose. A Carol for Peace. Hampstead [1925]. A single folded sheet, printed as a Christmas keepsake (the front bears the gold design of a rose, and reads: “With all Good Wishes / for / Christmas and the New Year.”). The poem is twelve lines in three stanzas. Enclosed in a red quarter-leather box and an inner folder.
