Caradoc Evans. Typed letter signed, June 17, 1938, to “Dear Mr. Adams.” With the original envelope addressed to Adams, and with the January 15, 1938 “Special Storm Edition” of the Cambrian News. The newspaper chronicles the events and damage arising from a storm which struck the Welsh coast at Aberystwyth. After apologizing for his delay in answering a letter from Adams, Evans says: “I am glad my Mary Webb was well received and it was good of you to tell me so. The property I left at Aberystwyth went into the sea. The enclosed special storm edition of a local paper will tell you how.”
